Summer Foundation Routine 2015

Hi Everyone! I have been wanting to do this blog post for a couple of months now but I really wanted to test out the product and make sure that I really stand by my opinions. Everyone in the beauty community has been talking about the  L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation . I have been using my ride or die foundation, the L'Oreal True Match Foundation for years. So I was a little hesitant to try out a new foundation. Once I have found something I love, I don't like to stray away from it. I went to a couple of different places to figure out the best price for the foundation. This foundation can vary from $11 to $13, depending on where you go. I got mine at CVS because I had a coupon. I got my color in 107 Fresh Biege. I want to tell you two very important things about my skin. I have a yellow undertone to my skin and I have dry skin. Especially in my T zone area. So if you have a pink undertone, I do not recommend this foundation. Most of the

It's a Bunny... No! It's a Moose....No! It's a Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Hi Everyone! Today I will be doing a movie review on Jurassic World! I have never seen Jurassic Park so right before my mom and I went to the movies, we saw Jurassic Park.  This movie was made in 1993.  And it was pretty awesome. Like it wasn't really fake looking. The dinosaurs were extremely realistic looking. Okay, I have never seen one but I have seen drawings and their fossils. Anyways, I was scared basically the whole entire movie. I screamed a lot but I really enjoyed it. The story line was extremely fascinating and made you think like a lot about the world and people who only care about money.  Now onto Jurassic World! Honestly you did not have to see Jurassic Park to see Jurassic World...but I do recommend it because it puts you in the whole mindset of the park and why they created this park.  Summary: Jurassic World was created 20 years after Jurassic Park. The attractions were ten times better, the dinosaurs were bigger, better, and scarier. But ever

Sophie Reads: We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

Boy oh boy, this book review is going to be interesting. Hi everyone! I am super excited to be doing another Sophie reads. The summer time is when I read as many books as possible because I have the most time. This specific book,  We Were Liars by E. Lockhart  has been on my list to read for quite some time. A couple of beauty gurus that I watched have talked about this book and I became instantly interested.  Summary: This book is based on a family, the Sinclair family, who are extremely wealthy. There are three sisters, Carrie, Bess, and Penny and their children, Johnny, Will, Mirren, Liberty, Taft, Bonnie, and Cadence. As well as the head of the family, Harris Sinclair and Tipper Taft. The Sinclair's own this island off the coast of Massachusetts, Beechwood. Every summer, the family goes to this island. This story is through the eyes of Cadence Sinclair Eastman , the first grandchild of Harris and Tipper. Something happened when she was 15. An accident. After that accid

June Ipsy Bag 2015!

Hey everyone! I really need a better way to say hi to you all. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Today I am doing my June Ipsy bag! I am super pumped because whenever I get my Ipsy bags/ pouches I get to try different brands that I might not have ever heard about. I never look at a preview of what I am going to get because I always want it to be a surprise. So let's get started. Not going to lie, when I first got my Ipsy bag, I was a little disappointed. The reason why is because on the Ipsy Instagram page, they had so many products that I wanted to try like the Formula X nail polish and  the It Cosmetics brow pencil. But when I first looked at the products that I received, I was disappointed. The bag/pouch: This pouch is super simple but I really like it. This is the perfect pouch to keep all your make up in and throw it in your purse. I like how it is flimsy feeling but durable. Some of the Ipsy pouches are very sturdy and structured and I am not really a

My Love for Pandora Jewelry!

Hello! I am super excited to be doing this blog post because it's about a topic that I have not really talked about on my blog. Today I will be talking about jewelry! Now ever since I was little, I have always wanted a Pandora bracelet. So many of my friends had them and my teachers had them and I was always so in love. Besides my Tiffany bracelet, my Pandora jewelry is my most prized jewelry pieces. So today I thought I would share my jewelry pieces from Pandora Jewelry  for you all! Three of the items I just got yesterday but I just had to share them with you because I am obsessed. So here we go! The first and my favorite Pandora item is my bracelet. The reason this is my favorite Pandora piece is because I got this as a graduation present from my parents and my little brother. My parents knew how much I wanted a Pandora bracelet and the fact that they took the time to pick out these charms specifically for my graduation present means the world to me. A lot of people thi

Sophie's Thoughts: Biore Charcoal Bar

Hi Everyone! I am finally back! Today I have decided to do a review. Now reviews are one of my favorite blog posts to write because they are just really fun and it means that I have tested a product out and these are my actual opinions instead of just my hopes and dreams on the product. I have always had really nice skin. I am not trying to brag but it's true. I never had really bad acne, I always had pretty clear skin. When I would get a pimple, I would get rid of it pretty quickly. The type of skin I have is dry to combo skin. When I was in middle school and high school, I had oily to combo skin but something must have happened and now my skin is more dry. Which I do not mind but I am just telling you all. Now that you know the background on my skin, here's the review! Today I will be reviewing the  Biore Charcoal Bar . I have not really heard much about this charcoal bar, which I am pretty surprised. I know a lot of beauty gurus love the Biore strips to remove blackh

Where have I Been?!

Hello Everyone! You are all probably wondering where I have been. It has been quite a long time since I have posted something on my blog and I am truly sorry about that. Unfortunately, there is only one reason. That reason is that I have been extremely sick. Two weeks before finals week I got extremely ill with a virus. I had a fever, I was coughing, and had chills. I also lost my voice which was so hard because I am someone who needs to talk.....constantly. I had to go home two weeks before finals and was basically bed ridden. On top of that I was worried about finals as well as being in pain because of my stomach. But I am so happy that my professors and school was so kind and supportive and allowed me to take my finals later to get semi healthy.  I will forever be grateful for how kind my professors and school administration have been this entire year because I would not have made it through the year. So thank you so much! So after finals, I was taking medicine for this stra
