It's a Bunny... No! It's a Moose....No! It's a Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be doing a movie review on Jurassic World!

I have never seen Jurassic Park so right before my mom and I went to the movies, we saw Jurassic Park.

This movie was made in 1993.  And it was pretty awesome. Like it wasn't really fake looking. The dinosaurs were extremely realistic looking. Okay, I have never seen one but I have seen drawings and their fossils. Anyways, I was scared basically the whole entire movie. I screamed a lot but I really enjoyed it. The story line was extremely fascinating and made you think like a lot about the world and people who only care about money.

Now onto Jurassic World! Honestly you did not have to see Jurassic Park to see Jurassic World...but I do recommend it because it puts you in the whole mindset of the park and why they created this park.

Summary: Jurassic World was created 20 years after Jurassic Park. The attractions were ten times better, the dinosaurs were bigger, better, and scarier. But every couple of years, the investors want a new attraction. A bigger, better, more scary attraction. So they genetically altered a dinosaur. The scientists mixed a lot of different genes from different animals into one giant dinosaur . And let's just say, things do not turn out so well.

Overview:
I have mixed feelings on this movie. I unfortunately did not like it as much as I liked Jurassic Park. I liked that Chris Pratt was in it. He did amazing and he was so bad ass and very sexy! But I also liked that Chris Pratt was the logical one about the dinosaurs and I loved that he cared about his raptors. They were so freaking cute, but only when they were under control. I also really enjoyed that most of the workers that worked at the park knew that what the scientists and owners were doing was wrong. These dinosaurs are supposed to be extinct and by keeping them in captivity and making them rely on  cranes to feed them food instead of being able to hunt and migrate, soon the dinosaurs will end up fighting back. I hope that makes sense.

Here is where I talk about why I didn't love the movie. I hated that it was a lot more violent then the first movie. I know that when things go wrong, you need to protect the people but it was a lot more gruesome and more violent and it was okay at first but it became more uncomfortable throughout the movie. But I could handle that...a little. But the thing that killed me the most was that most of the people that were running the park could care less that these are animals. These dinosaurs are supposed to be extinct and by genetically altering them to rely on living in this park, is just horrible. Animals are extremely smart. They sense things quicker than humans do.  I know this is just a movie but it just made me feel horrible to see how the people that ran the park did not care. All they cared about was making money or creating a weapon and they forgot that animals are not like that! No matter how long they are in captivity, they will realize that something is not right.

Also, this movie made you think that how much science can change anything. Scientists can alter anything they want now a days and that is very scary to think about. I believe that humans should not mess with nature. But that is my personal opinion, but let me know what you think. Should humans be allowed to alter nature and genetically alter anything they want....like animals? Tweet me your opinions @sophiareyes6.

That is my little rant on treating animals horribly. I know it is just a movie but that was the most off putting part of the movie. In Jurassic Park, it was not like that. The owner cared about the dinosaurs, he was fascinated by them and he wanted to show the world how beautiful these animals are....even though they should be extinct.

I do wonder if we could bring back dinosaurs. Like if it is possible or if scientists are trying to do that. I would never want it to happen but I am just curious.

I would recommend seeing this movie at the movie theaters and in 3D because it was really good that way. I do not know if I would recommend this to everyone. If you are a huge Jurassic Park fan, go see it and you might have your own opinions on which movie is better.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. Even though this is not a super positive review, I just felt the need to tell you all my thoughts on the movie. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Invisible Illness Series: Support

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is going to be a little emotional but I feel like it will probably help so many of you all. One thing I have noticed with having Endometriosis is how many people just do not get it. They do not understand why I am constantly in pain. They think that the pain that I am experiencing on a daily basis is something that everyone experiences. It is not. People who suffer from chronic pain can go hours at a time in excruciating pain that honestly is indescribable. And even then if people physically see you in pain, they do not care. They just think you are either faking it or being over dramatic. Well to those people I have this to say, you should be ashamed of yourself. Why would anyone fake being in agony for hours at a time. Why would anyone feel the need to be stuck in bed for a long time just because they just "don't feel like getting up". I have a feeling that many of you have experienced people like that in your life. Well let m

Review: Victoria Secret Seamless Racerback Bra

Hey everyone! So I never see anyone reviewing sports bras! So today I decided to review one! Now I HATE sport bras. Every sports bra that I have ever tried either suffocates my boobs (TMI...sorry!) or they are way to lose to support my boobs when I am working out. Now I am addicted to Victoria Secret Pink. I absolutely love every thing they have. I own way to much stuff from them so when I saw this new sports bra, I had to try it. It is the  Victoria Secret Pink Seamless Racerback Bra ! First Impression: I got it in the tie dye color in blue. When I first got it in the mail, the first thing I thought was how soft it was. Then I saw that it was a very thin material. I thought it was going to be a little thicker like most sports bras. I was kinda afraid that it will show my nips. (TMI!) I got it in a medium. First Time Wearing It: The first time I wore it was not to work out but to school. I got so many compliments from my friends. They all thought it was different because of

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health problems, stuff
