It's a Bunny... No! It's a Moose....No! It's a Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Hi Everyone! Today I will be doing a movie review on Jurassic World! I have never seen Jurassic Park so right before my mom and I went to the movies, we saw Jurassic Park.  This movie was made in 1993.  And it was pretty awesome. Like it wasn't really fake looking. The dinosaurs were extremely realistic looking. Okay, I have never seen one but I have seen drawings and their fossils. Anyways, I was scared basically the whole entire movie. I screamed a lot but I really enjoyed it. The story line was extremely fascinating and made you think like a lot about the world and people who only care about money.  Now onto Jurassic World! Honestly you did not have to see Jurassic Park to see Jurassic World...but I do recommend it because it puts you in the whole mindset of the park and why they created this park.  Summary: Jurassic World was created 20 years after Jurassic Park. The attractions were ten times better, the dinosaurs were bigger, better, and sc...

Movie Review: Gone Girl

Hello Everyone! I hope you all have been having a great October. This weekend, I went home for the weekend and my parents decided they want to go see Gone Girl. I already read the book over the summer and it was a pretty intense read. So I already knew what happened but I am always curious to see how the movie is compared to the book. Plus, they are saying that there might be an Oscar movie and I love the Oscars and Oscar movies so that is another reason I went.  Summary: On Amy and Nick Dunn's 5th anniversary, Nick comes home to his wife missing and his living room turned upside down. He calls the cops and they start an investigation. Throughout the first half of the movie, all the clues link to Nick. Credit Card Statements, not knowing basically anything about his wife. But then a twist of fate happens and the truth begins to unravel. I cannot say what happens because it will definitely ruin the ending but let's just say, do not always judge a book by it's cover....

Movie Review: Million Dollar Arm

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. I am super excited to be doing a review on this movie. As you all know, I love movies. But my love of sports movies is a different story. So today, I will be reviewing the movie, Million Dollar Arm.  Summary:  This movie is about a man named Jamie Bernstein or JB. He is a sports agent. But 3 years before the movie started, he decided to create his own agency. Now him and his two co workers have not signed any new players since they went on their own and started their own company. In the beginning of the movie, he was trying to get a football player Popo to sign with him. But while waiting for Popo, he realized something. What if he turned a cricket player from India, into a MLB pitcher. So that's what he tried to do. He went to India, and created this contest called the Million Dollar Arm. He traveled throughout all of India looking for a pitcher. They had to pitch over 80. He found two pitchers. H...

Movie Review: The Battered Bastards of Baseball

Hey everyone! I am super duper excited to do another movie review for you all! Now this movie is only on Netflix, so hopefully most of you have Netflix. But I believe that a ton of people should watch this documentary. As some of you may know, I love documentaries. I feel that they are so fascinating and interesting and you learn so much. Another thing you might not know is that I love baseball. The reason I love baseball is because my little brother has been playing baseball all his life and I love to watch him play, which made me fall in love with the game. This documentary is all about baseball so if you do not like baseball, you might not truly enjoy the documentary but you should still watch it because of the incredible story line. Overview: This documentary is about how Bing Russell, Kurt Russell's father was an actor and then became the owner of the Portland Maveriks. The Portland Maveriks were the only independent baseball team in 1976.  The Portland Maveriks were m...

Movie Review: 22 Jump Street

Hey everyone! I am so excited to being doing another movie review for you all! Now most of the movies I review are really depressing and sad but this movie is HILARIOUS! Now let's get into the review! Summary:  This is the second movie to 21 Jump Street. Now the first movie was about Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, who are cops, pretending to be high school students and finding out who is distributing drugs. Their headquarters were located in a Chinese church on 21 Jump Street. Now 22 Jump Street is  about them going to college now and how they are looking for the distribution of a specific drug called Wyphy. The roles are reversed because Channing Tatum is the popular football player while Jonah Hill is the geek who hangs out with the art kids. It shows the struggle of trying to find out the distributor while separating from each other. It's called 22 Jump Street because the headquarters gets moved across the street to Vietnamese Church.  My Opinion:  ...

Movie Review: The Normal Heart

Hey everyone! I have not done a movie review in a while, so I decided to do one today. I saw this movie with my mom when we were in Connecticut for my brother's baseball tournament. This movie premiered on HBO and it is called The Normal Heart. Overview: This movie is based on a play also called The Normal Heart. It is about the HIV-AIDS crisis that happened in the early 1980s in New York City. It is about the story of how a gay man named Ned Weeks (played by Mark Ruffalo) gets a group of friends/people to spread the word about how this disease is killing gay men and no one knows why or what it is. Emma (played by Julia Roberts) plays the doctor that is the only person that actually is trying to find out what is happening to these men. This movie is not only about starting a revolution to spread awareness about AIDS-HIV, it is about a love story and how this disease does not stop these men from loving each other. My Opinion: I thought this movie was incredible. At first I wa...

Movie Review: Fruitvale Station

Now I do not do many movie reviews because it is kind of hard because everyone has a specific type of movie they like to watch or specific actors they enjoy. But the moment I saw this film, I knew I had to tell all my blog lovers about this amazing movie.  Not many people have seen this movie or even heard of it and when I found that out I was really surprised. Summary: This movie is based on a true story. This man named Oscar Grant, 22, was killed December 31st 2008. He was killed by a white officer. Him and his friend were trying to come back from celebrating New Years Eve when he was shot. This movie takes place in the span of two days. It shows what he did the day before he died. Then it shows what happened and how the situation between his friends and the officers got out of hand and how he got shot. Then the after effects of him getting shot. He left behind a daughter and a girlfriend as well as friends and family. My Opinion: This movie was INCREDIBLE. This movi...
