Bye Bye Acne !

Hellooooo Everyone! (Said in a really bad British accent)

I hope you all are having a great weekend. I thought I would continue with the Bye Bye series and today I will be talking about acne!

Now I will admit that I do not have really bad acne and that is because I follow these tips. On top of that when I recommend these tips to my friends, after a couple of weeks, their acne is not as bad as before.

1) Always take your make up off at night!

The reason why you need to do this is that your face needs to breathe. If you are wearing make up, touching your face with your hands, and having all the pollution in the air, your skin is suffocating. That is why you need to either wash your face or use a make up wipe before you go to bed. The reason why is when you sleep, your skin can breathe and your skin also does not look dull if you do this.

2) Drink a lot of water!

Water is AMAZING for your skin. It's also amazing for your whole body but it is also amazing for clearing your skin and making it glow. I think that you should drink ATLEAST 16 oz's a day. I used to not drink a lot of water and it was horrible because I could see it in my skin because it looked dull and I had more pimples than usual. So drink water!

                                                    3) If you see a pimple, put a spot treatment on it!

I cannot even tell you how many times I have used this spot treatment and it has saved my life. This is the Clean & Clear Spot Treatment. This is amazing. If you put it on at night, you wake up the next day  and the pimple is almost gone. I highly recommend that if you have any pimple, pop this on and your all set!

4) Use a toner!
Toner's change everything in your skin routine! I love this Clinique toner. It is absolutely amazing! What a toner does is after you wash your face, any dirt that your face wash did not take off, the toner takes it off. I recommend using a toner morning and night. The reason why is it just helps get all the dirt out of your pores. If this toner is to expensive, try the Clean & Clear one.

5) Exfoliate!

Exfoliate! Exfoliate! Exfoliate! You should exfoliate at least once a week. Why exfoliating is important is that it takes all the dirt that was deep in your pores that did not want to come out when you washed your face. I really like the St. Ives exfoliate because it is not harsh on your skin and takes out all the dirt.
6) Use a face mask once a week!

Face mask are AMAZING! I recommend the Queen Haleen Mint Julep Masque and it is inexpensive and works amazing.  I just think that everyone should use a face masque because it minimizes pimples, takes out the dirt and bacteria that is on your face, and also it makes your face brighter.

These are my tips to saying bye bye to acne! I hope you all enjoyed and have a wonderful day/night!
Carpe Diem,
Sophia

My Love for Pandora Jewelry!

Hello! I am super excited to be doing this blog post because it's about a topic that I have not really talked about on my blog. Today I will be talking about jewelry! Now ever since I was little, I have always wanted a Pandora bracelet. So many of my friends had them and my teachers had them and I was always so in love. Besides my Tiffany bracelet, my Pandora jewelry is my most prized jewelry pieces. So today I thought I would share my jewelry pieces from Pandora Jewelry  for you all! Three of the items I just got yesterday but I just had to share them with you because I am obsessed. So here we go! The first and my favorite Pandora item is my bracelet. The reason this is my favorite Pandora piece is because I got this as a graduation present from my parents and my little brother. My parents knew how much I wanted a Pandora bracelet and the fact that they took the time to pick out these charms specifically for my graduation present means the world to me. A lot of people thi...

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health p...
