Dear 2016

Dear 2016,
You really sucked. This year was so difficult and honestly I don't think I am the only person who thought his year sucked as well. I will give you just a few of the reasons why this year sucked.
`
1) Trump became president
2) I was sick a majority of the year
3) Terrorists attacks
4) family members passed away
5) Lost friends

and these are just a few of the reasons why 2016 sucked. I am writing this letter because I just wanted to say goodbye 2016 and hello 2017.

Here are some of the few things I am hoping for in 2017:

1) That I am healthy
2) I lose my sick weight
3) I become happier
4) I make Dean's list
5) I get another dog, this is not likely but hey I am hoping!
6) Become an activists for people with chronic pain

These are just a few of things I want in the year of 2017. Of course I would like an end to the hatred and sadness in the world. I would love to stop world hunger. I would love to stop animal abuse and just abuse in general. But unfortunately that is wishful thinking. But I will use my voice to be an activist and to share my opinions. To make people more aware on what is going on in the world and how people can help and use their voice.

I am praying that 2017 is a whole lot better than 2016. And I have a feeling that I am not the only person who feels this way.  I would love to hear some of things why 2016 sucked or if you had a wonderful year, please share! I really want my blog to become a community for everyone! I also am quite curious about everyone's new years resolutions! Please share that if you want.

I hope you all had or are having a happy holidays. But also, happy new year! Let's make 2017 one for the books!

I hope you all have a wonderful day or night wherever you are!
Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! I have an exciting blog post to share with you all! For years, I have been trying to find the perfect shaving routine. Honestly, shaving your legs is extremely hard. You have to make sure you don't cut yourself, to miss a spot, let's just say it's a lot of work to shave your legs.  So for years I have been testing out different products and honestly I have found the perfect shaving essentials that will keep your legs nice and smooth but also minimize quick growth. Sometimes, there are times where I use a shaving cream or a razor and the next day I feel the hair is thicker and just not very appealing. So I am excited to share my shaving secrets with you all today!  The most important part of shaving is your razor. A razor is extremely important because honestly, if you have a bad razor, than you will have a bad shave and that is not so cute. I have tried many razors but the razor that I find is the best is the...

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health p...

Battle of the BB Creams!

Hello everyone! Now as you all can tell, I love the Battle of the series. The reason why is because I can review a bunch of products for you all in one blog post. Since it is summer and not many of you want to wear a ton of make up, I thought I would tell you my favorite BB creams. I also want to let you know that there might not be many blog posts in the month of July. The reason is because I am in college at the moment and I am super busy. I will try to put up as many as I can but I just want to let you all know! :) I hoped you all had a wonderful June! What is a BB cream?    Now BB stands for blemish balm. A BB cream is supposed to have a moisturizer, primer, concealer, skin treatment and foundation all in one. BB creams have been all the rage for a while now but not many people talk about them anymore.   NOW LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Round 1: This is the  L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream . This BB cream was one of the first BB creams that ...
