April Ipsy Bag 2015!

Hi Everyone!
It is finally spring and the weather is finally warm! I have not been loving my Ipsy a lot lately but I have been willing to give it a chance because last month, I loved my Ipsy. But I think this month is so much better!

The Bag

This is the only thing that I am not a fan about. I don't really like this Ipsy bag. I have never really enjoyed this straw type bags. But I still think it is cute but I am not obsessed with it. I am most likely going to give this bag to my abuela.

Now onto the amazing products!

I have not confessed to you all, but I have a bit of an addiction....to blush. I have just been loving blush lately and how amazing it makes you feel whenever you put it on. So when I saw this, I was super excited. Some blush are hard to pick for people because you never know if it will suit them or not. Thankfully, this blush suits me very well. I am going to be traveling a lot and I needed a travel blush and I think I found one. I have never heard of the brand but when I swatched this blush, it was very smooth and creamy and seemed that it would be easy to blend.

Words cannot describe my excitement when I found out I had a Julie G polish in my bag. I have been watching Julie G for years and have always wanted to try out her infamous nail polishes. Unfortunately, I do not know where there is a Rite Aid near me and I was unsure about ordering online. But now I finally get to try her nail polish! This color is perfect for spring and summer and I cannot wait to put it on my toes. I am not sure if this color is specific to just Ipsy subscribers but she has so many nail polishes and now she has lashes! Plus, her nail polishes are so affordable. Love Julie G!

Ever since I got my first Crown brush from Ipsy, I have been obsessed. That Crown brush is one of my all time favorite brushes. So when I saw I got another Crown brush, I was pumped! I do not really use brushes to put on my concealers, I either use my finger or my Real Techniques sponge but that is okay! I love using concealer brushes for cream shadow or packing shadow onto the lid. Cannot wait to test this brush out!

I have always loved chapstick and whenever Ipsy gives me lip moisturizers or chapsticks, I am so happy. I now have a huge pile of chapstick that is waiting to be used. But the moment I opened this chapstick and smelled it, I had to use it. It smells like chocolate. It is extremely moisturizing and not sticky and you do not need to apply a ton. And what it seems to me is that this chapstick is all natural. Do not count on me on it but that is what it seems.

The Balm is one of my all time favorite brands and I have always wanted to try out their palettes because I have heard they are amazing. When I heard they were coming out with another nude palette, I was lusting after it. This color is absolutely perfect. This is Sophia in an eyeshadow. I think the whole palette is quirky and fun and I am excited that I was able to try one of the eyeshadows. The Balm never seems to disappoint.

And that is my Ipsy bag! I am really happy with it this month. I do not know if I have a favorite product honestly. I am excited about every single product. Let me know what you guys got from your Ipsy bags! I hope you all have an amazing day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Invisible Illness Series: Support

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is going to be a little emotional but I feel like it will probably help so many of you all. One thing I have noticed with having Endometriosis is how many people just do not get it. They do not understand why I am constantly in pain. They think that the pain that I am experiencing on a daily basis is something that everyone experiences. It is not. People who suffer from chronic pain can go hours at a time in excruciating pain that honestly is indescribable. And even then if people physically see you in pain, they do not care. They just think you are either faking it or being over dramatic. Well to those people I have this to say, you should be ashamed of yourself. Why would anyone fake being in agony for hours at a time. Why would anyone feel the need to be stuck in bed for a long time just because they just "don't feel like getting up". I have a feeling that many of you have experienced people like that in your life. Well let m

Review: Victoria Secret Seamless Racerback Bra

Hey everyone! So I never see anyone reviewing sports bras! So today I decided to review one! Now I HATE sport bras. Every sports bra that I have ever tried either suffocates my boobs (TMI...sorry!) or they are way to lose to support my boobs when I am working out. Now I am addicted to Victoria Secret Pink. I absolutely love every thing they have. I own way to much stuff from them so when I saw this new sports bra, I had to try it. It is the  Victoria Secret Pink Seamless Racerback Bra ! First Impression: I got it in the tie dye color in blue. When I first got it in the mail, the first thing I thought was how soft it was. Then I saw that it was a very thin material. I thought it was going to be a little thicker like most sports bras. I was kinda afraid that it will show my nips. (TMI!) I got it in a medium. First Time Wearing It: The first time I wore it was not to work out but to school. I got so many compliments from my friends. They all thought it was different because of

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health problems, stuff
