December Ipsy Bag 2014!

Hello Everyone!

This is the last Ipsy bag of 2014! That is crazy!

So let's get into our last "unboxing" of 2014!

The bag/pouch:

I really like this bag. I think it is the perfect size to carry around make up products on your purse. I kind of wish that there was a more fun bag since it is the last one of the year. Maybe like a fun print on the pouch. I feel like this is just a little to boring. But none the less, I think the bag is really practical.

Now onto the products!

Cool Way Boost Repair

When I first saw this, I honestly thought it was a sunscreen because there is a sunscreen company that has a similar name. But when I saw boost repair, I realized that it definitely was not sunscreen. Apparently, this product is a revolutionary hair repair serum that has Aminolock MAB molecule. I have no idea what that means. You are supposed to use it in the shower. But when I smelt it, it smells like nail polish remover. I kinda do not want to put that in my hair. But I will try it but since I have extremely curly hair, I am kind of worried about what it would do to my curls. But we will see.

Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream Avocado and Argan

Just letting you know, this is going to my mom. I will not be using it. The reason is that I do not have any problems with my under eyes yet and I do not really need an eye cream. But I wish it was a body lotion because avocado and argan sound amazing for your skin. I really like the packaging, I think it is really cute and simple. This does not smell like anything.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara

I have heard nothing but great things about this mascara. But I will also be giving this to my mom because it is her favorite mascara. I have never tried Tarte mascara's but one day I will be able to.

Pixi Fairy Dust in Brightening Bare

I am so in love with this eye shadow. As some of you may know, I have an obsession with champagne, bronzy colors and this is just perfect. It is super creamy and it looks like it is going to perfect to wear by itself or over a cream shadow. Plus, this applicator is extremely interesting. It reminds me of the NYC shadows that were in a pot like back in the day. Those were my first eyeshadows and now this Pixi one is an upgrade. But I am super happy with this product and I cannot wait to try it out.

NYX Butter Lip Balm in Parfait

I was super excited about this lip balm because I have not heard anything about it. Normally, the beauty gurus are going crazy over NYX lip products so I was surprised that I have not heard of this one. But it is a really pretty color and I think it is really nice for the college look: high bun, mascara, and this pretty lip bun. So I am really happy with this.

That is my last Ipsy "unboxing" of 2014! I cannot believe that this year has gone by so quickly. It definitely has been an interesting year and I am excited to see what the new year has to offer.

Unfortunately though, I was kind of disappointed in this Ipsy bag. Since it is the last one of the year, I wish we received a bright red lipstick for the holidays or a highlighter. But that is just me.

I hope you all have a wonderful day/night and I hope you all have a happy holidays!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

BB creams have been all the rage for a while now but not many people talk about them anymore.   NOW LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Round 1: This is the  L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream . This BB cream was one of the first BB creams that ...

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! I have an exciting blog post to share with you all! For years, I have been trying to find the perfect shaving routine. Honestly, shaving your legs is extremely hard. You have to make sure you don't cut yourself, to miss a spot, let's just say it's a lot of work to shave your legs.  So for years I have been testing out different products and honestly I have found the perfect shaving essentials that will keep your legs nice and smooth but also minimize quick growth. Sometimes, there are times where I use a shaving cream or a razor and the next day I feel the hair is thicker and just not very appealing. So I am excited to share my shaving secrets with you all today!  The most important part of shaving is your razor. A razor is extremely important because honestly, if you have a bad razor, than you will have a bad shave and that is not so cute. I have tried many razors but the razor that I find is the best is the...

June Ipsy Bag 2015!

Hey everyone! I really need a better way to say hi to you all. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Today I am doing my June Ipsy bag! I am super pumped because whenever I get my Ipsy bags/ pouches I get to try different brands that I might not have ever heard about. I never look at a preview of what I am going to get because I always want it to be a surprise. So let's get started. Not going to lie, when I first got my Ipsy bag, I was a little disappointed. The reason why is because on the Ipsy Instagram page, they had so many products that I wanted to try like the Formula X nail polish and  the It Cosmetics brow pencil. But when I first looked at the products that I received, I was disappointed. The bag/pouch: This pouch is super simple but I really like it. This is the perfect pouch to keep all your make up in and throw it in your purse. I like how it is flimsy feeling but durable. Some of the Ipsy pouches are very sturdy and structured and I am not really a...
