My Top Fashion Picks For The Oscars!

Hey Everyone! How are you doing?! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It is finally March which means that spring is around the corner! Finally!

So my Sunday evening was spent watching The Oscars! It was AMAZING! How many of you watched it? Tell me what you thought of it! Well one of my favorite parts of The Oscars is always the fashion. This year was one of the best years in fashion in my opinion.

So these are my top five picks!
5) Camilla Alves! She looked absolutely stunning with her creamy pink colored dress. I loved how the gown had shape to it with that cape looking thing. ( I do not know what its called) The dress hugged her in all the right places and the color matched her olive skin tone. I loved how she did her hair in an up do. It made the focus on her dress and the interesting shape of it. I also loved that she did not over power the dress with any jewels. She only had earrings on it was perfect. Overall, I absolutely loved Camilla Alves dress. Plus she had her Oscar winning husband by her side!
4) My oh my! Sandra Bullock! She looked STUNNING! I loved how simple her dress was! How it hugged her hips and it looked good! The royal blue color looks amazing with her hair color. I also loved how she did not put much jewelry on because she wanted the statement to be her dress. I also loved how the fabric surrounded her in this picture. She looks like a warrior goddess! I also love her to death but I think she looked fantastic last night.
3) She is scandalous! Kerry Washington looked INCREDIBLE. She rocked her belly bump like           nobody' s business. I loved the simplicity of the dress.....can you see that is the trend that I loved. The dress just wraps beautifully around her belly and then drops to the floor. The slit adds a little sexiness to her dress but it is not overly dramatic. The color suits her skin tone beautifully. It is like a putter- purple color. I also loved her dark lipstick because it brings back the fall/winter makeup trend of vampy lips. Overall, you rock Kerry Washington!

2) P!nk, you have done it again! This dress took my breathe away. Red is such a bold and can be an intimidating color for people, but P!nk made red look fierce, fantastic, and fabulous! The low cut cleavage of the dress made the dress risque but the overall the dress was pretty conservative for P!nk. The crystals was a major highlight in the Oscars this year and this dress had the perfect amount of crystals to it. When she walked, the crystals sparkled and it made her performance even more magical. I think P!nk should wear red more because she looked FABULOUS!
1) MY GIRL LUPITA! Lupita just knocked every one's socks off in this dress. She helped design this dress and she looked like Cinderella! This dress just suits her so well. The Tiffany blue color is stunning!(one of my favorite colors) The low cleavage and the low back looked great on her because she is very slim and petite. The cut of the dress was amazing. When she walked up the stairs to get her Oscar ( I almost cried because I was so proud) the dress looked like a princess dress. Plus it seemed accessible for her to walk up the stairs in. But hands down, she has won my favorite fashion picks for The Oscars.

Every single dress was gorgeous but these are my top five. Some of these were pretty hard to narrow down but I really enjoyed thinking about who I would choose for this blog post. I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!
Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Invisible Illness Series: Support

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is going to be a little emotional but I feel like it will probably help so many of you all. One thing I have noticed with having Endometriosis is how many people just do not get it. They do not understand why I am constantly in pain. They think that the pain that I am experiencing on a daily basis is something that everyone experiences. It is not. People who suffer from chronic pain can go hours at a time in excruciating pain that honestly is indescribable. And even then if people physically see you in pain, they do not care. They just think you are either faking it or being over dramatic. Well to those people I have this to say, you should be ashamed of yourself. Why would anyone fake being in agony for hours at a time. Why would anyone feel the need to be stuck in bed for a long time just because they just "don't feel like getting up". I have a feeling that many of you have experienced people like that in your life. Well let m

Review: Victoria Secret Seamless Racerback Bra

Hey everyone! So I never see anyone reviewing sports bras! So today I decided to review one! Now I HATE sport bras. Every sports bra that I have ever tried either suffocates my boobs (TMI...sorry!) or they are way to lose to support my boobs when I am working out. Now I am addicted to Victoria Secret Pink. I absolutely love every thing they have. I own way to much stuff from them so when I saw this new sports bra, I had to try it. It is the  Victoria Secret Pink Seamless Racerback Bra ! First Impression: I got it in the tie dye color in blue. When I first got it in the mail, the first thing I thought was how soft it was. Then I saw that it was a very thin material. I thought it was going to be a little thicker like most sports bras. I was kinda afraid that it will show my nips. (TMI!) I got it in a medium. First Time Wearing It: The first time I wore it was not to work out but to school. I got so many compliments from my friends. They all thought it was different because of

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health problems, stuff
