Must Have Nail Polish for Spring!

Hi everyone!
I hope you all are doing well. Now that I have started talking about spring, I am so ready for it! My last post was about my favorite spring trends for 2014 and today I want to talk about nail polish! I love nail polish. It makes me so happy when I am writing notes and all of a sudden I look down and see my nails painted in a pretty color. It brightens my day! It's all about the small things in life.

Essie's Play Date

This color just screams spring to me. This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes and every time spring and summer comes around, this is the first nail polish I put on.

This color is gorgeous. I do not personally own this color....yet! I will be getting it this spring because this is like a lavender/periwinkle purple. This color is a perfect color to transition color from winter to spring.

This is another color that I don't own.....but I will. I honestly think neutral nails is a perfect transition from winter to spring and it looks very natural and simple. Don't get me wrong I love vibrant colors but just having a simple color also can stand out on the nails. Especially if you have a glitter accent nail.

This color is AMAZING! Now I never liked pink/ coral colors on my nails but last year I slowly branched out and started wearing pink/ coral nail polish and it suits my skin color so well.
Boy oh boy do I love this color! This is the perfect vibrant pink. It will suit every skin tone. I think this is a must have for everyone because it can be the perfect nail polish and toe polish color.

This is a spring/ summer classic. I think this is the perfect Tiffany blue color that everyone is looking for in the spring time. This color just brightens up my day when I see it. I think this should be on every one's must haves list.

Now this color is very vibrant. But it is beautiful. This is just a color that can bring a smile to any one's face (in my opinion). Yellow is such a beautiful color and not many people wear it but I believe that this color can suit anyone. Just wear it with confidence! :)

So those are my must have nail polishes for spring 2014! I hope you all enjoy this blog post. Please let me know if you want me to do any specific blog posts. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Shaving Essentials 101

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! I have an exciting blog post to share with you all! For years, I have been trying to find the perfect shaving routine. Honestly, shaving your legs is extremely hard. You have to make sure you don't cut yourself, to miss a spot, let's just say it's a lot of work to shave your legs.  So for years I have been testing out different products and honestly I have found the perfect shaving essentials that will keep your legs nice and smooth but also minimize quick growth. Sometimes, there are times where I use a shaving cream or a razor and the next day I feel the hair is thicker and just not very appealing. So I am excited to share my shaving secrets with you all today!  The most important part of shaving is your razor. A razor is extremely important because honestly, if you have a bad razor, than you will have a bad shave and that is not so cute. I have tried many razors but the razor that I find is the best is the...

Book Review: Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Another book review!? Yes! Today I have another book review for you all and it is going to be a good one! So this novel was one of the galleys that my mom got for me at BEA. (Book Expo America) Just a warning is that this novel does not come out until September 23. But you can always pre-order it if you are interested. The novel is called  Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs .  Now I will give you a little background about why I read this book. When I was in 6th grade, my Biology teacher put on the show Bones for us to watch. And from that day to 10th grade, I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Now to this day I love forensics, I think it is super fascinating but I am just not good at biology. Anyways, the show Bones was based off of Kathy Reichs and her life as a forensic anthropologist. Now a forensic anthropologist is someone who studies human bones and  figures out what happened to that person. How they died, if they were murdered, did they have any health p...

Battle of the BB Creams!

Hello everyone! Now as you all can tell, I love the Battle of the series. The reason why is because I can review a bunch of products for you all in one blog post. Since it is summer and not many of you want to wear a ton of make up, I thought I would tell you my favorite BB creams. I also want to let you know that there might not be many blog posts in the month of July. The reason is because I am in college at the moment and I am super busy. I will try to put up as many as I can but I just want to let you all know! :) I hoped you all had a wonderful June! What is a BB cream?    Now BB stands for blemish balm. A BB cream is supposed to have a moisturizer, primer, concealer, skin treatment and foundation all in one. BB creams have been all the rage for a while now but not many people talk about them anymore.   NOW LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Round 1: This is the  L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream . This BB cream was one of the first BB creams that ...
