October Ipsy!

Hey Everyone!
I finally have another Ipsy post for you all! I am super excited to start doing my Ipsy posts again. Now this one is super late because it was delivered to my house and not my dorm so I got it super late. But it is here and I am excited to show you all what I got!

So here is the pouch that all the goodies came in. I really like the color. Its not really a fall color though. It is more of a spring color but that is okay. I also like how square it is because I can use it in my purse or backpack. That is what I normally use the pouches for.

Now onto the products!

This is a product by Indie Lee. It is a brightening cleanser. Apparently it is 100% all natural and it is paraben free and phthalate free. When I got this I was super excited because I absolutely love cleansers and any skin care products. Skin care is extremely important to me and just trying different types of brands and products are exciting to me. When I smelled it, it smelled like a grape jolly rancher. Yum! I haven't used this cleanser yet but I will let you all know how I feel about it.

This is Figs and Rouge Hand Cream in Rose Berry. It has shea butter in it, my favorite! Apparently this company is from the United Kingdom. The moment I pulled this out of the bag, I thought it looked like the L'occitane Hand Creams but more colorful. I have tried this product and this hand cream is wonderful. It is not sticky. It glides right into the skin. It is a little thick but not super thick where you need to wipe it off. When I smelled it, it did not smell like Rose Berry. It smells like straight up candy. Now on the card that came with the bag, this month is Beauty Candy, so maybe that is why they put this product in, not sure. But I do like the smell. When you put it on, the smell lingers but is not over powering.

This lip gloss is the Starlooks lip gloss in Guilty Pleasure. My first thought when I pulled it out of the pouch was fall. In this picture it looks like a coral, but it is a mauve color. It is a extremely light mauve color. When I swatched it, it glided on, I have not tried it but I will keep you all updated. Below is the swatch of the lip gloss.

The next product is a pen liquid liner. It is by the brand Skone and it is called Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner and there is no name. Above is the swatch of the eye liner. It is black. Now this is a pointed eye liner pen and I have been meaning to try something like this for a while. When I swatched it, it glided on, no streaking, was not watery at all. The tip was a little flimsy but not to bad. Super excited about this product.

The last product is a mask. It is by the company Albertini International and the mask is called Warm Love and is a pumpkin exfoliating mask. Like I said before, I love skin care and trying out different products. Plus I love exfoliating, especially in the winter time. Plus, I love pumpkin, especially pumpkin pie and that is exactly what this mask smells like. I am super excited to try this product.

That was all for my October Ipsy! I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. I do not have a favorite product because I was happy about all of them. I mean the only kind of disappointment was the lip gloss but what can you do about that. If you have any requests or just want to say hi, just tweet me. I hope you all have a wonderful day/evening!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Since it is summer and not many of you want to wear a ton of make up, I thought I would tell you my favorite BB creams. I also want to let you know that there might not be many blog posts in the month of July. The reason is because I am in college at the moment and I am super busy. I will try to put up as many as I can but I just want to let you all know! :) I hoped you all had a wonderful June! What is a BB cream?    Now BB stands for blemish balm. A BB cream is supposed to have a moisturizer, primer, concealer, skin treatment and foundation all in one. BB creams have been all the rage for a while now but not many people talk about them anymore.   NOW LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Round 1: This is the  L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream . This BB cream was one of the first BB creams that ...

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! I have an exciting blog post to share with you all! For years, I have been trying to find the perfect shaving routine. Honestly, shaving your legs is extremely hard. You have to make sure you don't cut yourself, to miss a spot, let's just say it's a lot of work to shave your legs.  So for years I have been testing out different products and honestly I have found the perfect shaving essentials that will keep your legs nice and smooth but also minimize quick growth. Sometimes, there are times where I use a shaving cream or a razor and the next day I feel the hair is thicker and just not very appealing. So I am excited to share my shaving secrets with you all today!  The most important part of shaving is your razor. A razor is extremely important because honestly, if you have a bad razor, than you will have a bad shave and that is not so cute. I have tried many razors but the razor that I find is the best is the...

June Ipsy Bag 2015!

Hey everyone! I really need a better way to say hi to you all. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Today I am doing my June Ipsy bag! I am super pumped because whenever I get my Ipsy bags/ pouches I get to try different brands that I might not have ever heard about. I never look at a preview of what I am going to get because I always want it to be a surprise. So let's get started. Not going to lie, when I first got my Ipsy bag, I was a little disappointed. The reason why is because on the Ipsy Instagram page, they had so many products that I wanted to try like the Formula X nail polish and  the It Cosmetics brow pencil. But when I first looked at the products that I received, I was disappointed. The bag/pouch: This pouch is super simple but I really like it. This is the perfect pouch to keep all your make up in and throw it in your purse. I like how it is flimsy feeling but durable. Some of the Ipsy pouches are very sturdy and structured and I am not really a...
