October Ipsy!

Hey Everyone!
I finally have another Ipsy post for you all! I am super excited to start doing my Ipsy posts again. Now this one is super late because it was delivered to my house and not my dorm so I got it super late. But it is here and I am excited to show you all what I got!

So here is the pouch that all the goodies came in. I really like the color. Its not really a fall color though. It is more of a spring color but that is okay. I also like how square it is because I can use it in my purse or backpack. That is what I normally use the pouches for.

Now onto the products!

This is a product by Indie Lee. It is a brightening cleanser. Apparently it is 100% all natural and it is paraben free and phthalate free. When I got this I was super excited because I absolutely love cleansers and any skin care products. Skin care is extremely important to me and just trying different types of brands and products are exciting to me. When I smelled it, it smelled like a grape jolly rancher. Yum! I haven't used this cleanser yet but I will let you all know how I feel about it.

This is Figs and Rouge Hand Cream in Rose Berry. It has shea butter in it, my favorite! Apparently this company is from the United Kingdom. The moment I pulled this out of the bag, I thought it looked like the L'occitane Hand Creams but more colorful. I have tried this product and this hand cream is wonderful. It is not sticky. It glides right into the skin. It is a little thick but not super thick where you need to wipe it off. When I smelled it, it did not smell like Rose Berry. It smells like straight up candy. Now on the card that came with the bag, this month is Beauty Candy, so maybe that is why they put this product in, not sure. But I do like the smell. When you put it on, the smell lingers but is not over powering.

This lip gloss is the Starlooks lip gloss in Guilty Pleasure. My first thought when I pulled it out of the pouch was fall. In this picture it looks like a coral, but it is a mauve color. It is a extremely light mauve color. When I swatched it, it glided on, I have not tried it but I will keep you all updated. Below is the swatch of the lip gloss.

The next product is a pen liquid liner. It is by the brand Skone and it is called Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner and there is no name. Above is the swatch of the eye liner. It is black. Now this is a pointed eye liner pen and I have been meaning to try something like this for a while. When I swatched it, it glided on, no streaking, was not watery at all. The tip was a little flimsy but not to bad. Super excited about this product.

The last product is a mask. It is by the company Albertini International and the mask is called Warm Love and is a pumpkin exfoliating mask. Like I said before, I love skin care and trying out different products. Plus I love exfoliating, especially in the winter time. Plus, I love pumpkin, especially pumpkin pie and that is exactly what this mask smells like. I am super excited to try this product.

That was all for my October Ipsy! I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. I do not have a favorite product because I was happy about all of them. I mean the only kind of disappointment was the lip gloss but what can you do about that. If you have any requests or just want to say hi, just tweet me. I hope you all have a wonderful day/evening!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Beauty and Random Favorites for 2014!

Happy 2015 Everyone! I hope that the start of 2015 is going well for you all. I am super excited to be sharing my top 2014 products with you. At the end of the blog post, I will be sharing some random favorites as well. I hope you all enjoy! Face: I have two favorite foundations for 2014. The first one is a high end foundation and it is the  Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Full Coverage Foundation . I have the shade Medium-Tan Honey. This is my special occasion foundation. Since it is pretty expensive ( $38) I do not want to use it every day. My favorite part of this foundation is how much it looks like skin on your face but it looks like a more flawless version of my skin. But I personally do not like the cake face look and I like the more natural look and this foundation gives it to me. The second foundation is from the drugstore and it is the  Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Make up . I am in the shade W3. I heard about this foundation all over YouTube but ...

Summer Foundation Routine 2015

Hi Everyone! I have been wanting to do this blog post for a couple of months now but I really wanted to test out the product and make sure that I really stand by my opinions. Everyone in the beauty community has been talking about the  L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation . I have been using my ride or die foundation, the L'Oreal True Match Foundation for years. So I was a little hesitant to try out a new foundation. Once I have found something I love, I don't like to stray away from it. I went to a couple of different places to figure out the best price for the foundation. This foundation can vary from $11 to $13, depending on where you go. I got mine at CVS because I had a coupon. I got my color in 107 Fresh Biege. I want to tell you two very important things about my skin. I have a yellow undertone to my skin and I have dry skin. Especially in my T zone area. So if you have a pink undertone, I do not recommend this foundation. Most of the ...

Must Have Nail Polish for Spring!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well. Now that I have started talking about spring, I am so ready for it!  My last post  was about my favorite spring trends for 2014 and today I want to talk about nail polish! I love nail polish. It makes me so happy when I am writing notes and all of a sudden I look down and see my nails painted in a pretty color. It brightens my day! It's all about the small things in life. Essie's Play Date This color just screams spring to me. This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes and every time spring and summer comes around, this is the first nail polish I put on.  You're Such a Budapest This color is gorgeous. I do not personally own this color....yet! I will be getting it this spring because this is like a lavender/periwinkle purple. This color is a perfect color to transition color from winter to spring. Essie's Sand Tropez  This is another color that I don't own.....but I will. I honestly think ...
