Hi everyone!
How are all of you doing? I hope you all had a wonderful mothers day! I have not done a wheat belly update in quite a while. There was nothing really to catch you all up on about how my progress was going or anything like that. But I have made a big decision.
I have decided to not be on a wheat belly diet anyone. There are a couple of reasons why I wanted to stop the wheat belly diet. The first main reason was because I felt like I was starving myself. Not that I was but since I was so limited to eating food, it was really hard to find stuff to eat for lunch and dinner. I know I have the Wheat Belly Cookbook but I never had time to make stuff from it whether I was at school or at work. But don't get me wrong, I absolutely love that cookbook and I will still be making food from it.
Another reason why I decided to stop the wheat belly diet was because I stopped feeling different and better about myself. I began feeling very bloated and not seeing the results that I use to see. I do not know why because I had not eaten anything with wheat in it for almost 6 months. So just this April I began feeling sick and my stomach was feeling more heavy than light like it used to. Now I do not know if it was because I did not have much variety in my diet but I just did not like how I was feeling.
And the last reason why I wanted to stop the wheat belly diet is I stopped losing weight or staying at the same weight. I gained almost two pounds. Now I honestly do not know how that happened. I know that I have not been exercising as much but my weight should not have changed like it did.
Now I am not saying to not try the wheat belly diet or that its bad. I am actually really glad that I did the wheat belly diet. It taught me so much about food. I tried a bunch of food that I really enjoyed. So I definitely recommend to try this diet and see how you do.
I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! If you have any questions about the wheat belly diet, I will be so happy to answer them! Have a wonderful day/night!
Carpe Diem,
Sophia
