Review: Tangle Teezer

Hola!
How was every ones weekend? Mine was pretty busy because I was working and I went to my brother's baseball games but it was a good weekend overall! What did you all do?

Today, I decided to review one of my all time favorite brushes and that is the Tangle Teezer!
Now this brush has been around for a very long time but I decided I wanted to tell you all my personal thoughts on it. Plus, when I mention it to most of my friends, they have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. So this is also for you guys! :)

What is the Tangle Teezer?
The Tangle Teezer is a brush that has multiple different types of bristles to get any kind of knot out, whether its a huge knot or a baby knot.  The shape of the Tangle Teezer is designed for people to grip the brush while they are brushing out their hair. It allows the person to have more control.

Why I love the Tangle Teezer?
I love the Tangle Teezer because it is the only brush that does not make my hair frizzy after brushing it. It also takes only 5 minutes to brush out my hair. Before I got this brush it would take me almost 20 minutes! Now some of you may or may not know but I have extremely curly hair and this brushes all the knots and tangles right out......get it...Tangle Teezer. I know! Clever! Anyways I have mid length hair at the moment but when I had extremely long hair, I had no problem using this also.

Why do I recommend this product?
The reason I recommend this product is because it makes life so much easier when you need to brush your hair. This brush can be used for any type of hair, whether it's long or in a bob. I think this brush would also save you hours from brushing your hair. I highly suggest this brush because it just makes everything so much easier and your hair does not get frizzy and your arm does not get tired because you are taking hours brushing out your hair.

So those are my thoughts on the Tangle Teezer. I highly recommend this product. No, I am not being sponsored, I just wanted to share my thoughts about it. :)

I hope you have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Beauty and Random Favorites for 2014!

Happy 2015 Everyone! I hope that the start of 2015 is going well for you all. I am super excited to be sharing my top 2014 products with you. At the end of the blog post, I will be sharing some random favorites as well. I hope you all enjoy! Face: I have two favorite foundations for 2014. The first one is a high end foundation and it is the  Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Full Coverage Foundation . I have the shade Medium-Tan Honey. This is my special occasion foundation. Since it is pretty expensive ( $38) I do not want to use it every day. My favorite part of this foundation is how much it looks like skin on your face but it looks like a more flawless version of my skin. But I personally do not like the cake face look and I like the more natural look and this foundation gives it to me. The second foundation is from the drugstore and it is the  Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Make up . I am in the shade W3. I heard about this foundation all over YouTube but ...

Summer Foundation Routine 2015

Hi Everyone! I have been wanting to do this blog post for a couple of months now but I really wanted to test out the product and make sure that I really stand by my opinions. Everyone in the beauty community has been talking about the  L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation . I have been using my ride or die foundation, the L'Oreal True Match Foundation for years. So I was a little hesitant to try out a new foundation. Once I have found something I love, I don't like to stray away from it. I went to a couple of different places to figure out the best price for the foundation. This foundation can vary from $11 to $13, depending on where you go. I got mine at CVS because I had a coupon. I got my color in 107 Fresh Biege. I want to tell you two very important things about my skin. I have a yellow undertone to my skin and I have dry skin. Especially in my T zone area. So if you have a pink undertone, I do not recommend this foundation. Most of the ...

Must Have Nail Polish for Spring!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well. Now that I have started talking about spring, I am so ready for it!  My last post  was about my favorite spring trends for 2014 and today I want to talk about nail polish! I love nail polish. It makes me so happy when I am writing notes and all of a sudden I look down and see my nails painted in a pretty color. It brightens my day! It's all about the small things in life. Essie's Play Date This color just screams spring to me. This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes and every time spring and summer comes around, this is the first nail polish I put on.  You're Such a Budapest This color is gorgeous. I do not personally own this color....yet! I will be getting it this spring because this is like a lavender/periwinkle purple. This color is a perfect color to transition color from winter to spring. Essie's Sand Tropez  This is another color that I don't own.....but I will. I honestly think ...
