September Favorites!

Hey everyone,
So this is going to be a pretty short favorites blog post. Honestly, I just have been using the same make up and the same stuff in September. But I already have a lot of favorites for October, so look out for that. I am sorry that I have not had a lot of favorites in the past few months . I honestly don't know why. But I promise I will be trying out more stuff in the future. So let's get started!

I have only two make up products and I have probably talked about them since I started my blog, which is literally has been almost a year! Crazy!

So the first make up favorite is a cult classic, Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Now, I loved this palette in the month of September because it was just easy to throw on a color, throw on some mascara and run out the door. My favorite colors are W.O.S., Faint, and Naked 2. Out of the 3 colors, Naked 2 is my favorite because it is such a beautiful color that you can use on it's owm, in the crease, under your lower lash line. Any where you need a light taupe color, Naked 2 is there to use. (Clever, huh?)

I first heard about this wonderful lip balm from leighannsays. She is beauty guru on YouTube and she is really quirky and relatible. This color looks good on anyone. It honestly is a your lips but better color. I have been using this all the time before class. What I like is that it is moisturizing and it gives you a little color so you do not like a zombie in the morning even though you may feel it.

So those are my only two make up products for September! I know I am a terrible beauty blogger. Trust me, this month will be so much better.

Now on to the random favorites.
So I have been obsessed with music in September.
I highly suggest these artists because they are extremely talented.

The first one that I fell in love with is Keys N Krates.

They are so amazing. My really good friend Melissa showed me them. Our favorite song that we play by them is Dum Dee Dum.

This just will make you fall in love with them or hate them. They are dubstep but with a twist. I love listening to their Pandora playlist when I work out. It really pumps you up and it's great. If you aren't into the party kinda music, you probably will not like them.

My next favorite artist is on the completely different spectrum of music and her name is Lights.

I have been a huge fan of hers since 8th grade when she opened up for Owl City in the House of Blues. Well I saw on Spotifiy that she came out with a new album called Little Machines. I am in love. This album is incredible. It is so much better than her first album which I own as well.

This song is called Portal and it is one of my favorites off of the album. If you enjoy Owl City and Imagine Dragons, you will most definitely enjoy her album.

And the last artist is Luke Bryan.

My best friend Rachael is obsessed with him so I started to listen to him and have been really enjoying his music. Especially when I get ready in the morning, I just listen to his Pandora station and it's great. I know Luke Bryan is country, but I personally like him a lot more than most country singers because I am not really a big country fan but his music I enjoy.

So those are all my favorites for September. I know it was really short but I thought you all would enjoy learning my favorites. I hope you all had a wonderful month. Hope October is even better! Have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Since it is summer and not many of you want to wear a ton of make up, I thought I would tell you my favorite BB creams. I also want to let you know that there might not be many blog posts in the month of July. The reason is because I am in college at the moment and I am super busy. I will try to put up as many as I can but I just want to let you all know! :) I hoped you all had a wonderful June! What is a BB cream?    Now BB stands for blemish balm. A BB cream is supposed to have a moisturizer, primer, concealer, skin treatment and foundation all in one. BB creams have been all the rage for a while now but not many people talk about them anymore.   NOW LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Round 1: This is the  L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream . This BB cream was one of the first BB creams that ...

Shaving Essentials 101

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! I have an exciting blog post to share with you all! For years, I have been trying to find the perfect shaving routine. Honestly, shaving your legs is extremely hard. You have to make sure you don't cut yourself, to miss a spot, let's just say it's a lot of work to shave your legs.  So for years I have been testing out different products and honestly I have found the perfect shaving essentials that will keep your legs nice and smooth but also minimize quick growth. Sometimes, there are times where I use a shaving cream or a razor and the next day I feel the hair is thicker and just not very appealing. So I am excited to share my shaving secrets with you all today!  The most important part of shaving is your razor. A razor is extremely important because honestly, if you have a bad razor, than you will have a bad shave and that is not so cute. I have tried many razors but the razor that I find is the best is the...

June Ipsy Bag 2015!

Hey everyone! I really need a better way to say hi to you all. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Today I am doing my June Ipsy bag! I am super pumped because whenever I get my Ipsy bags/ pouches I get to try different brands that I might not have ever heard about. I never look at a preview of what I am going to get because I always want it to be a surprise. So let's get started. Not going to lie, when I first got my Ipsy bag, I was a little disappointed. The reason why is because on the Ipsy Instagram page, they had so many products that I wanted to try like the Formula X nail polish and  the It Cosmetics brow pencil. But when I first looked at the products that I received, I was disappointed. The bag/pouch: This pouch is super simple but I really like it. This is the perfect pouch to keep all your make up in and throw it in your purse. I like how it is flimsy feeling but durable. Some of the Ipsy pouches are very sturdy and structured and I am not really a...
