Review: Benefits They're Real Mascara

Hey y'all!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Now I have been waiting to do this review for a really long. The reason it took so long for me to do this review is because I wanted to make sure I knew my feelings on this product. So this product is the Benefit They're Real Mascara.

Now I am going to show you before and after pictures and then tell you all my opinion.

After:
My Opinion:
Now when I first got this mascara, I was extremely excited. This mascara is so hyped on YouTube that I was just waiting to try it. The only thing was is when the YouTuber's showed their lashes with the mascara on, I was not really impressed. So when I got a sample size I was so excited. I had pretty high expectations. Now my favorite mascaras are The Falsies by Maybelline and The Colossal by Maybelline. I think Maybelline makes the best drugstore mascaras. So I wanted to try a high end mascara. Now I really did not like this mascara. I hate to say it because so many people love it but I really did not think this was worth the hype. The reason why is because it is to dry and gets clumpy very easily. I think when you first apply this mascara, you are like "wow this is such a great mascara", but as the day goes on your lashes begin to wilt and clump together and not look so pretty any more. On top of that, it is such a pain in the butt to take this mascara off. I know Benefit just came out with a cleanser specifically to take this mascara off but I think that is ridiculously. Do not get me wrong, I love Benefit products but I think you should make a mascara that is great and that is easy to take off as well.  So I do not recommend this product. I personally think it is a waste of money and that you can get better mascaras from the drugstore. I am sorry Benefit but I do not think this is worth the hype.

Now I normally like doing positive reviews but I just had to tell you all that this is not a good product. I do not want you all wasting your money when you can get great mascaras from the drugstore. Oh and sorry about my eyebrows. I need to pluck them. But anyways I hope you liked this review. If there are any other products you would like me to review please let me know. Also, I have been having trouble with my comments so I am really sorry about the inconvenience. I am trying to figure it out as soon as possible. I hope you have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Must Have Nail Polish for Spring!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well. Now that I have started talking about spring, I am so ready for it!  My last post  was about my favorite spring trends for 2014 and today I want to talk about nail polish! I love nail polish. It makes me so happy when I am writing notes and all of a sudden I look down and see my nails painted in a pretty color. It brightens my day! It's all about the small things in life. Essie's Play Date This color just screams spring to me. This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes and every time spring and summer comes around, this is the first nail polish I put on.  You're Such a Budapest This color is gorgeous. I do not personally own this color....yet! I will be getting it this spring because this is like a lavender/periwinkle purple. This color is a perfect color to transition color from winter to spring. Essie's Sand Tropez  This is another color that I don't own.....but I will. I honestly think ...

First Impression: Sephora Favorites Meet Your Match!

Hello everyone! I am super excited to be doing my first first impression blog post! Yay! Now I got this a while ago but I have not really touched it or played around with it. A first impression is basically my opinion on these products and how I think of them the first time I swatch them, use them , stuff like that. Now this is a value set from Sephora and it is the  Sephora Favorites Meet Your Match .  Now this was pretty popular among some YouTubers a while back and I really liked the products and wanted to try them and it was only $25 for 6 sample size products. Which I thought was a pretty good deal.  Packaging:  I love the packaging. I thought it stands out because of the bright colors and the interesting print on the cardboard. I also love the concept of matching you lip gloss to your nail polish. I thought it was a really fun idea for summer.  Match 1: This is the first lip product that I want to tell you all about an...

January Random Favorites 2015!

Hello Everyone! It is my first favorites blog post of the new year! How exciting! So January was not a good month at all for me. I was extremely sick and I was getting back to college and  I moved dorm rooms so I was adjusting to that as well, so that is why I don't have any make up favorites. I started wearing make up and playing with make up during the last month of January so all the make up that I have been loving will be in my next favorites. But January was all about movies and TV shows. My first favorite of the month and the biggest favorite in January was Reign. If you love Vampire Diaries. You will love this show. Reign is just ..... no words can even describe how good it is. It is about Mary Stuart, the Queen of Scotland and how she has to marry Prince Francis of France, soon to be the king of France. The whole show is based on what happens in the castle between Francis and Mary as well as France and Scotland. This show is filled with passion, danger and streng...
