Battle Of The Body Creams!

Hi Everyone!
Now I don't know about you but I am OBSESSED with body creams. I love baby soft skin so I kinda collect body creams, body lotions, anything to make your body soft, I want/need to try it. So I decided to do a battle of the body creams! Now this is the more expensive version of the battle and then I will have a cheaper version! SO LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Round 1:
Soap and Glory Body Cream
Holy Moly this stuff is amazing! I got this kit from Sephora, Here This kit has three sample sized body creams and they each have different scents. What I really like about these body creams is they are very soft and smooth. Some body creams are very thick and sticky but this is the complete opposite. It just glides on your skin and it takes five minutes for the cream to settle in. I also love that the scent lasts forever. I wake up the next morning and the scent lasts all day. I highly recommend this product. The thing is this product is expensive. The original price for a full size is $22. I know super pricey so that's why I recommend the sample kit which is only $15!

Round 2:
The Body Shop Body Butter

Now these body creams have been hyped up for years in the Youtube community. Now don't get me wrong I was super excited to try this product out. I got like a Christmas set that had three sample sizes of the Christmas scents. I used them all up and I really did not like this product. I thought it was to thick and to sticky. I also did not like the Christmas scents. I was highly disappointed. I thought since it was  the dead of winter this would help my skin but honestly it did nothing for me. I am probably one of the only people out there who does not like these. But I might try another scent. Maybe it was the different scents that were off putting but I am willing to try it again. Ulta has a 6 piece body butter kit. Here So I might give that a try. I am not sure yet. But if you like thick creams, try this. If you are more into soft and smooth body creams, I do not recommend this.

Now I think you all know who won this battle.

Soap and Glory Body Cream!

I hope you all enjoyed this battle of the body creams! If you like this series, please let me know what else you want me to battle. I hope you have a wonderful day/night!

Carpe Diem,
Sophia

Beauty and Random Favorites for 2014!

Happy 2015 Everyone! I hope that the start of 2015 is going well for you all. I am super excited to be sharing my top 2014 products with you. At the end of the blog post, I will be sharing some random favorites as well. I hope you all enjoy! Face: I have two favorite foundations for 2014. The first one is a high end foundation and it is the  Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Full Coverage Foundation . I have the shade Medium-Tan Honey. This is my special occasion foundation. Since it is pretty expensive ( $38) I do not want to use it every day. My favorite part of this foundation is how much it looks like skin on your face but it looks like a more flawless version of my skin. But I personally do not like the cake face look and I like the more natural look and this foundation gives it to me. The second foundation is from the drugstore and it is the  Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Make up . I am in the shade W3. I heard about this foundation all over YouTube but ...

Summer Foundation Routine 2015

Hi Everyone! I have been wanting to do this blog post for a couple of months now but I really wanted to test out the product and make sure that I really stand by my opinions. Everyone in the beauty community has been talking about the  L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation . I have been using my ride or die foundation, the L'Oreal True Match Foundation for years. So I was a little hesitant to try out a new foundation. Once I have found something I love, I don't like to stray away from it. I went to a couple of different places to figure out the best price for the foundation. This foundation can vary from $11 to $13, depending on where you go. I got mine at CVS because I had a coupon. I got my color in 107 Fresh Biege. I want to tell you two very important things about my skin. I have a yellow undertone to my skin and I have dry skin. Especially in my T zone area. So if you have a pink undertone, I do not recommend this foundation. Most of the ...

Must Have Nail Polish for Spring!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well. Now that I have started talking about spring, I am so ready for it!  My last post  was about my favorite spring trends for 2014 and today I want to talk about nail polish! I love nail polish. It makes me so happy when I am writing notes and all of a sudden I look down and see my nails painted in a pretty color. It brightens my day! It's all about the small things in life. Essie's Play Date This color just screams spring to me. This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes and every time spring and summer comes around, this is the first nail polish I put on.  You're Such a Budapest This color is gorgeous. I do not personally own this color....yet! I will be getting it this spring because this is like a lavender/periwinkle purple. This color is a perfect color to transition color from winter to spring. Essie's Sand Tropez  This is another color that I don't own.....but I will. I honestly think ...
